Hi,
I was playing a set with my Traktor / S8 combination when after about an hour my songs rapidly starting to sound worse and within two songs they were cracking heavily (like very bad old records). I have had this a few weeks before as well, but on the end of a short set and didn't make too much of it back then, since I was down to my last record and thought it might have been a loose connection somewhere. But now I had to go on a whole night and luckily I had an SD card and was able to hook up a CDJ2000 to my S8 and play one song through there.
After a reboot of the Macbook all was well again until (again) an hour or so. This is how I finished my night with some 3/4 reboots.
I am running a mid 2012 Macbook Pro, 2.9Ghz dual core i7, 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 1TB flashdrive.
I am running OSx El Capitan 10.11.5.
I use this Macbook only for DJ'ing. That means it has Traktor 2.10.2 running on it, Dropbox and iTunes where I keep my music collection and that's all the software I have and use on this machine.
Any thoughts?
Please help.
